Why people without money are the same people who don’t know how to save and work?
I wonder how they can stomach being wasteful without having a financially secure future.
Why they think they can afford not to work or seek any form of income?
I think people can live with little money but not without hard work. You can toil the ground and reap what you sow – you will survive. But with little money and without any kind of work – you will go hungry tomorrow. I cannot preach this hard enough and soon it will be too late for the lazy bums. It’s a grim tale how you will get old, not have the energy to work like you have now while you can, yet you have to work because you did not save. At 40, 50, or 60 – you are stuck in a financial limbo – still working and chasing the income you might have saved in your younger years.
They say people with money are unjust and insensitive (when they refuse to help folks who do not know how to help themselves first), but looking at the big picture and in detail – don’t you think, at times, the other fence are the insensitive folk?
I’ve met people who worked hard, had plenty in the bank but lived with only one pair of canvas shoes. Isn’t it ironic?
Now I realize what elders and mom taught me, don’t judge people by the way they look. Don’t assume someone dressed fashionably is rich. More often than not they are in the stage of aspiration. Though in reality, real wealth will not be had if the focus is on material possessions, pleasure, and not saving.
Peace of mind and financial freedom are priceless and will let you have the best sleep at all nights and the best days all tomorrows.
End of sermon, please save and as you do – save the earth too.
